BioVala Mal Doran is an apparently human, freelance con-artist and sneak thief from a planet not Earth, and here via SG-1's Stargate. (She was also once possessed by a Gou'ald and known as The Goddess Qetesh, but has since been freed of the parasite, reportedly by the Tok'ra.)
Somehow, in the midst of her many "creative" financial and trade dealings, Vala was accidentally regressed to about half her actual age. The SGC, feeling somewhat responsible (and not wanting to turn a newly traumatized 17yo version back loose on the galaxy!) shipped her to FH, where they'd already stashed the mini-clones of various other SG characters. OOC Character notes for other players: All of FH knows she and Cam are a serious item (she's moved into his room). She's openly friends with most of the SG types, and she had a one-night stand with Jack Harkness way back when that was very public at the time.
Her actual background/backstory (see above), however is known to only the people she's specifically told about it IG. Her recent interactions with the Time Agency are also something she's keeping very close to the vest. You might have spotted her meeting with a strange guy in town once or twice, but that's all anyone knows unless she's talked to them IG.
